Basic Behavioral Modification
Applejack starts with a free evaluation of your dog and interview with you to determine the problems you may be encountering.
We board and train your dog at our facility for seven to ten working days. The staff will focus on their behavior problems and teach them a basic thirteen-command routine.
Upon completion you will be reintroduced with your dog and receive weekly private and group lessons. The staff will instruct you in the proper ways of training your dog.

On Leash Obedience (GALLERY)
The On Leash Obedience program is taught in a group setting that will further you and your dogs skills and enjoyment.
The staff will instruct and aid you in new commands, turns and help to perfect your control of your dog.
Basic Behavioral Modification is a prerequisite for this course

Advanced Obedience(GALLERY)
The Advanced Obedience program is designed for the utmost control and understanding
between you and your dog.
We encourage this program for dogs, that have a strong freedom drive, protection drives,
or drives that might take more training and effort than the On Leash Obedience offers.
This program is also a prerequisite for levels beyond Protection. Training is performed off leash and around such distractions as people, kids, and other dogs.
The dog and owner/handler will develop the skills, focus and confidence within a safe and controlled environment to handle most situations they might encounter off leash.

Personal & Family Protection (GALLERY)
A personal protector or personal bodyguard is a well-mannered and disciplined companion. Applejack K-9 Academy offers protective training geared towards the family or business environment.
This training is performed in conjunction with at least On Leash Obedience. Each dog is customized for the life style and environment it is to live in.

Agility & Utility
Our on-site Agility & Utility course offers a variety of jumps, tunnels, and specially designed obstacles. The negotiation of these courses is correctly taught and when performed will develop a much stronger trust between the dog and handler.
Most dogs can successfully complete the course and just about anyone capable of walking their dog can enjoy this tremendous advancement in their relationship with their dog.

Tracking and Air Scenting (GALLERY)
These courses are designed to introduce you and your dog to the techniques used in Search and Rescue Teams. The courses create a great relationship between you and your dog and the other people taking the course. You will become a team. The group always enjoys the time they spend in this course and usually form a bond with each other.

Drug Course (GALLERY)
We offer Basic and Advanced courses designed to teach you and your dog the general concepts and techniques of conducting searches for drugs. The course includes the following scents marijuana, cocaine, heroin and LSD.

Management of Aggressive Behavior
This course is conducted in conjunction with On Leash and/or Advanced Obedience. The owner will be taught several corrections to control the aggressive behavior. These methods of correcting all types of aggressive behavior are consistent among the most knowledgeable canine behaviorist. The methods will work and will not harm the dog or owner if performed correctly.
